Browser Support

Atlas is SCHARP’s installation of the LabKey Server product from LabKey. LabKey builds and tests LabKey Server for modern browsers. For more information about which browsers LabKey supports, please refer to LabKey’s Support Technologies.

SCHARP tests LabKey Server / Atlas with the most current version of Google Chrome and therefore fully supports the use of Google Chrome with Atlas. No other browsers are fully supported. If you are not using Google Chrome, you will still be able to access Atlas, but some features may not function or display properly. For this reason, we recommend that all Atlas users use Google Chrome. If you are experiencing difficulties using Atlas, please ensure that you are using Google Chrome before contacting support.

Internet Explorer

With the release of Edge, Microsoft now considers Internet Explorer 9, 10, and 11 deprecated, with all other versions retired. While Microsoft continues to support and release security patches for Internet Explorer 9, 10, and 11, they do not plan on improving compatibility or functionality. For more information about Microsoft’s plans for Internet Explorer, please refer to Microsoft’s Internet Explorer Lifecycle FAQ. Because of this, both LabKey and SCHARP no longer support Internet Explorer for using LabKey Server / Atlas. It is advisable to move to a modern browser such as Google
